At Total Bump, we advise you to pack your dresser in size 1 month or birth, depending on baby’s weight:
- 10 to 15 long- and/or short-sleeved bodysuits, depending on the season
- 8 velvet or cotton pyjamas (one per day, plus a spare). Baby sleeps a lot in the early days, so you can leave him comfortable in his nightwear even during the day.
- several pairs of socks
- a pair of tights

- diapers that can be used for anything and everything
- a small woollen blanket for the stroller, naps, getting out of the bath, etc.

You’ll need the same thing in size 3 or 6 months, depending on baby’s size and growth.
WHEN IT'S TIME TO PLAY AND RELAX
For the first few months,your baby needs to be comfortable wherever he is. His head is particularly fragile, as it is still too soft to stand on its own.
